Our Founder
Laurance Bogar, M.ED.
Laurance Bogar is the CEO and Founder of Challenges Are Rewarding, LLC, whose mission is to create mindful, healthy individuals who intentionally pursue wholeness while developing the disciplines, mindset, structure, and vigor to achieve their personal and professional goals. The company uses one of its foundational pillars, Social-Emotional awareness, to connect and guide each "heart worker" toward a journey of healing and reflection. By providing interactive workshop experiences, mentorship, one-on-one coaching, leadership and organizational training, and parent and student engagement experiences, Challenges Are Rewarding, LLC, seeks to challenge you to remove your mask! Removing your disguise creates a space to take ownership of where you are and will push you to develop specific methods to bring you to a place of wholeness. Why is wholeness so essential? You show up, speak, and engage more effectively and confidently when you are whole. Laurance knows that no single approach is ideal for everyone, so she introduces strategies, resources, and tools so each heart worker can customize their winning strategy.
Laurance has trained in various modalities, including TBSI Severe Behavior Module: Prevention and De-Escalation, Keeping the Dignity in the Discipline, and Transformational Practices for Bridging the Gap between Schools, Families, and Communities. Laurance earned her B.A. in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and her M.A. in Educational Leadership from Concordia University. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Education, specializing in Social-Emotional Learning. Laurance has a fantastic husband, Joel Bogar, and three children, Grant Andrew, Carson Lawrence, and Avery Nicole. They are the wind beneath her wings as she allows God to fly her as an eagle.
When you let go of all the stress, worries, and actively participate in Heart Work the possibilities are endless.
